Packed with powerful features

Xaero's Minimap is a fully client-side Fabric mod — install it once and it works on any Minecraft server without server-side setup. Every tool you need to navigate Minecraft, in a single performance-optimized package.

In-Game Minimap

A real-time map overlay, always visible in your chosen corner. Pick between a square or circular shape, adjust the size, zoom level, and opacity from the settings menu.

Waypoints System

Create, rename, color-code, and delete named waypoints with one keybind. Waypoint beacons are visible through terrain. Supports per-dimension and per-server waypoint sets.

Entity Radar

See mobs, players, and items on the minimap in real time. Configure exactly which entity types are shown, their colors, and their render distance — fully customizable.

Cave Mode

Switch to Cave Mode to render underground cave systems and mineshafts in a separate height-slice layer. Never get lost in a cave or strip mine again.

Nether & End Support

Full terrain mapping and waypoints work in both the Nether and the End. Dimensions are tracked separately, so your base coords stay organized across all three worlds.

Highly Customizable

Adjust size, position, zoom, rotation, opacity, shape, and colors via an in-game GUI. Free-drag positioning lets you place the minimap exactly where you want it.

Lightweight & Fast

The rendering pipeline is aggressively optimized for minimal FPS impact. Smooth on mid-range hardware. No lag spikes when chunks load, even at high render distances.

Multi-Language Support

Translated into dozens of languages by the community, making Xaero's Minimap accessible to Minecraft players worldwide regardless of their native language.

Yes — Xaero's Minimap is a fully client-side mod. You do not need to install anything on the server. It works on any Minecraft server (vanilla, Paper, Spigot, etc.) as long as you have it installed in your Fabric client. Some features like waypoint teleportation require server-side permission, but the minimap and entity radar work everywhere.
Yes, Xaero's Minimap is fully compatible with Cobblemon. Both mods run on Fabric and work together without any conflicts. Xaero's Minimap displays terrain, waypoints, and entity radar normally in Cobblemon worlds and servers. It's a very popular combination for Cobblemon modpacks.
Xaero's Minimap is a Fabric mod and does not run alongside OptiFine, which is incompatible with Fabric. For similar visual enhancements on Fabric, use Sodium for performance and Iris Shaders for shaders — Xaero's Minimap works perfectly with both.
